Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) – PID is an infection of a woman’s pelvic organs including the uterus (womb), Fallopian tubes (tubes), ovaries, and cervix. Actually the majority of cases of PID are caused as a result of either suffering from Chamydia or Gonorrhea. This is why if you are in any doubt a to what might be causing your vaginal odor it is always bet to get checked out as you never know what might develop.
Vaginal Yeast Infection – Vaginal yeast infections occur when new yeast is introduced into the vaginal area, or when there is an increase in the quantity of yeast already present in the vagina relative to the quantity of normal bacteria. This often happens when taking antibiotics for other reasons. The antibiotics kill not only the bad bacteria but also the good, this lead to a build up of yeast with in the vagina.
